About the event

Come join us for a fun filled, educational and heart warming day at Mockingbird Farm Sanctuary!

Meet our resident herd, experience where they live and enjoy the rest of their lives with an outpouring of love and support, far away from their pasts, and in the arms of humans and non-humans who care for their every need!

See the  historic barns, where the animals live, and the ever changing environment that yours and every other supporters donations and love have built and continue to build on a daily basis.  Meet and greet our amazing volunteers, our founders Jon and Jonell, and her adorable mini farm manager, Audrey who is also Jonell's daughter - or just come to get away from your day and just enjoy a peaceful Saturday at the sanctuary.

12 years of age and over only please.

Please see our other tours for kids only tours if you are looking for a tour a little more tailored to kiddos 4-12 years old!

If you are looking to book a private tour for a more personal experience, with your younger children, classes, etc, or for any reason, please email us and we would be more than happy to accomodate and select a date.

Please take note:

-At this time, we DO NOT have public bathrooms or changing areas on site, as our facilities at this time are limited to a portable restroom.  Please plan accordingly during your visit.

-Mockingbird Farm Santuary is a full-time working farm sanctuary with many potential hazards to include mud, uneven ground, animal dropings, and roaming animals.  We highly encourage that your children stay with you at all times to avoid any possible injuries that might occur.  We ensure the sanctuary is as safe, clean and accessible as possible, but situations might present themselves that are beyond our control.

-Please wear close toed shoes, bring water and weather appropriate clothing.

-Although we'd love to meet them, please keep your companion animals home.

-We are currently unable to accommodate wheelchairs or walking assisting devices at this time due to the nature of the farm and the uneven, muddy, or loose dirt covered areas.  We are trying very hard to convert our historic barns and sanctuary grounds to make it inviting and accessible to all, and will be coming soon!

-Tours are scheduled for an hour, but there might be times where we go over or under one hour for various reasons, please plan accordingly.  You are welcome to leave the tour at any time.
