Mockingbird Farm Sanctuary is home to an always expanding motley crew of darling sentient beings - who will now forever know what unconditional love feels like. The sanctuary property was originally built for dairy operation in the 1800’s and the transformation to sanctuary has been a powerful one. It has been a true labor of love giving the once condemned barns a compassionate purpose. Mockingbird provides forever homes to farmed animals who may have been neglected, abused, fated for slaughter or have medical needs that require dedicated care. The property is a peaceful, serene and curative one as you witness the animals simply live their lives on their own terms, explore the craftsmanship that went into building the massive barns, walk through the apple trees, pastures and experience the atmosphere of compassion. Thank you for being here! Mockingbird is a sanctuary to all living beings, human and non-human.
